At Phoenix House International School, our Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of educational excellence, while fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for every member of our community. A cornerstone of our Board's ethos is a staunch commitment to safeguarding. The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors is of paramount importance. Our Board has instituted robust safeguarding policies that are designed to create a secure and supportive environment where everyone can flourish. They ensure that these policies are meticulously implemented and regularly reviewed to remain relevant and effective. Moreover, they promote a culture of awareness and proactive action within our school community to ensure that safeguarding remains a priority. Fei Fei Hu
Representative Director

Fei-Fei Hu is a British-Chinese entrepreneur living and working between Tokyo, Hokkaido, London and Shanghai. Alongside his wife Ayahi, he is co-founder of CEA.

 

An assistant to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales for 8 years from 2007-2015, Fei-Fei served as Secretary of The Prince’s Foundation (China) based in Clarence House and St. James’s Palace, UK. He studied Philosophy at Waseda University and the University of Oxford.

Ayahi Suda

Director

Ayahi Suda is a graduate of the University of Tokyo and was raised in an environment surrounded by a family of educators. At the age of 26, she started her own international early years education centre in the heart of Tokyo.

 

After moving to England in 2009 with her husband Fei-Fei she continued her education at the University of the Arts London and the Royal Drawing School. Ayahi then worked at Sotheby's headquarters. After returning to Japan in 2015, she co-founded Clarence Education Asia.

Kentaro Nanri
Director

Kentaro Nanri is a Certified Public Accountant in Japan. He has 14 years experience in professional firms as an auditor at PwC and as a director of cross-border M&A services at SCS Global Group, a Singapore based mid-size accounting firm. He led IT consulting and service company as the founder from April 2020, after a few years of experience in tech start-up companies where he has taken the role of CFO. He has been appointed as Executive VP of Finance and Operation in CEAMS from January 2023.

Ken holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Ritsumeikan University and is a certified CPA in Japan. His vast experience in strategic finance, coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of technological advancements, particularly blockchain, makes him a valuable asset to the CEA Private Schools LLC team.
