Ms Thomas holds a BA in History, from the Royal Holloway College, The University of London. Following a year working as a Teaching Assistant at a boarding school in Sydney, she jumped at the opportunity to train as a History teacher with the University of Buckingham alongside teaching at a boarding school in rural Dorset. During her six years teaching in Dorset, Ms Thomas enjoyed a variety of roles such as Assistant Houseparent, Head of History and was heavily involved in academic enrichment.
As a History teacher, Ms Thomas enjoys nothing more than reading both books, especially anything written by George Orwell. As a keen sportsperson, Ms Thomas enjoys the rather British pursuit of cricket, but also more internationally recognised sports such as running and cycling.
