Anya Miles

Ms Miles has four years of experience teaching Art, Design and Photography in schools in the UK. She has a 1st class degree in Decorative Arts where she gained a wide range of skills in a variety of materials, which enables her to encourage pupils to respond to the multidisciplinary nature of Contemporary Fine Art, Craft and Design practice.

Ms Miles is passionate about supporting pupils' creative journeys through facilitating exciting art lessons where pupils play with and develop skill in a variety of media, are introduced to new ideas and develop confidence in expressing themselves.

Her teaching inspires pupils to think outside the box through a diverse range of artists and art movements, exploring different cultures, historical and contemporary themes. Through her lessons, pupils are encouraged to engage with important, topical global issues in order to develop their understanding of the world around them.
