Anaam Zakria

Ms Zakria's teaching journey began shortly after graduating from Queen Mary, University of London with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Linguistics after which she worked as an English Teaching Assistant in Thailand with The British Council. After returning from Thailand, she worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant for two years before being offered the opportunity to train as a teacher.

Outside of teaching, Ms Zakria enjoys travelling, going to the theatre and, during lockdown, has developed a newfound love for baking copious amounts of sweet treats!
