Children learn as much outside of the classroom as they do inside. It is where they discover and cultivate and challenge potential, develop character, apply knowledge, invest in relationships, and interact with the physical world. We call this ‘enrichment’.
Set in the expansive nature of Hokkaido, North Peak offers a wonderful location for enrichment activities. Situated on a secure site, there is a purpose built educational centre including classrooms, lecture theatre and library, and an accommodation lodge with spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and dining hall, and baths.
The purpose is to give children the opportunity to study areas of the curriculum difficult to teach in an urban setting as well as to develop broader skills, interests and experiences that go beyond curriculum learning objectives.
